Obligations and Expectations of Work Duty
This policy clarifies employee work expectations and obligations during scheduled work hours at Northeast Data, Inc. All employees are expected to ensure their position in the company is successful. Standards of Conduct should always be followed. Below is a list of expectations for all employees who work for Northeast Data, Inc.
Everyone has an obligation to meet standards of behavior as they protect you and Northeast Data, Inc. The following list is not all-inclusive. You should read these standards carefully, as violations will be considered cause for immediate termination.

Treat Employees and Other Individuals with Respect: It is expected that every person can grow and work in an environment free from harassment or discrimination.

Expected Behavior:
- Work and communicate information effectively, accurately, and timely with all employees, customers, and suppliers as required by your job.
- Build productive and hostility-free relationships with all employees, customers, contractors, and suppliers.
- Communicate with your immediate manager if you believe you are not being treated with appropriate respect.

Prohibited Behavior:
- Submitting others to physical, verbal, or visual harassment.
- Retaliating against others because they have sought help in dealing with problems in the workplace.

Conduct Yourself in an Ethical and Legal Manner:
- Illegal or unethical dealings will not be tolerated.
- Handle confidential information appropriately.
- Be truthful in your interactions with others, which is critical to building trust in our work system.

Responsibility for Your Own Behavior:
- Inappropriate behavior will be dealt with through our discipline program and is subject to the Progressive Discipline Policy.

Devote Energies to Company Business:
- Conducting outside business during work hours is prohibited.
- Gifts and entertainment from customers should never be accepted.
- Never engage in selling company property.
- Alcohol and illegal drugs are not permitted on company or customer property.
- Firearms, ammunition, explosives, or similar materials are not permitted on company property.
- Never disturb or interfere with the work of any employee.
- Interfering with production by interrupting the work of others, or by deliberate failure to keep up with your work due to laziness, inattention, purposeful loitering, or failure to perform is prohibited.
- Company phones are intended for business use only.

Work Safely:
- Refer to the Employee Safety Manual for detailed safety policies.

Maintain Company Property:
- No stealing, damage, or defacement of equipment or materials.

Punctuality:
- Be on time for all scheduled work shifts.

Timely Performance and Training:
- Perform workloads timely and ask for assistance if additional training is needed.

Diligence in Job Duties:
- Neglecting to perform all job duties and assigned tasks will not be tolerated. Put forth your best effort on all assigned duties.

No Sleeping on the Job:
- Employees found sleeping during work hours will be considered in gross misconduct and will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination.

No Unauthorized Absence:
- Employees who walk off the job during work hours without approved time off or notification to their manager will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination.

No Wasting Production Time:
- Employees found wasting production time will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination.
Consequences for Policy Violations: Violations of the above policies will result in disciplinary action, which may include but is not limited to:
- Verbal or written warnings
- Suspension without pay
- Termination of employment
All disciplinary actions will be conducted in accordance with the Progressive Discipline Policy, ensuring fair and consistent treatment of all employees.
