In accordance with the Knee, Toe, and Foot Injury Prevention Safety Policy, all Northeast Data, Inc. employees working on a customer site are to wear steel toe safety shoes meeting ANSI and ASTM Z41 PT99 I/75 and C/75 standards. Effective October 15, 2024, Northeast Data, Inc. is adopting the following Safety Shoe Reimbursement Policy.
Northeast Data Employees who are on a customer site and work in areas where protective footwear is required will be reimbursed once annually for a pair of safety shoes meeting ANSI and ASTM Z41 PT99 I/75 and C/75 Standards.
For each fiscal year, between January 01 to December 31, Northeast Data will reimburse eligible employees once a year up to $150.00 per pair of safety shoes meeting the above eligibility requirements.
The approved footwear that qualifies for reimbursement must be:
Employees may only receive a shoe reimbursement for safety shoes once per fiscal year and only after 12 months between receipts.
The company’s reimbursement will be limited to no more than one pair of protective footwear per year.
Deviations from this limitation will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
Employees will be responsible for the difference between the cost of the protective footwear and the amount of the company reimbursement for that footwear.
Employees will be responsible for reasonable care and maintenance of their protective footwear.
The Employee will be responsible for wearing the protective footwear during working hours.
Note: Employees that resign from employment from Northeast Data within 2-months of receiving the Shoe Reimbursement will be required to reimburse Northeast Data 100% of the reimbursement from their final paycheck.
Employee must complete an Expense Reimbursement Form and include a copy of the itemized receipt documenting the expense.
Scanned or photographed copies of receipts are acceptable provided the images are completely legible.
