Northeast Data

Probationary Period

All new employees will start with a minimum 90-day probationary period from their first day of work. During this time, the individual will be on a trial basis and not yet a formal employee of Northeast Data, Inc. The company may release an employee at any time during this period, with or without cause.

At the end of the probationary period, the employee will receive a performance review. After this review, the employee must sign off on the job description that applies to their role. If an employee does not sign off on the job description, they will not be hired as a full-time employee of Northeast Data, Inc.

If you fail the probationary period, it means that Northeast Data, Inc. has decided not to continue your employment beyond the initial 90 days. This could be due to various reasons, such as not meeting performance expectations or not fitting well with the team or company culture.

Here are the typical steps that might follow:

  1. Feedback Session: You will likely have a meeting with your supervisor or Human Resources to discuss the reasons for not passing the probation.
  2. Termination of Employment: Your employment with the company will end, and you will no longer be required to work there.
  3. Final Pay: You will receive your final paycheck, including any earned wages and possibly unused vacation time, depending on company policy and local laws.
  4. Return of Company Property: You will need to return any company property, such as ID badges, laptops, or other equipment.

It’s important to use this feedback constructively for future opportunities. If you have any specific concerns or need further clarification, it’s always a good idea to discuss them with your supervisor or Human Resources Department.

Note: Northeast Data, Inc. reserves the right to modify this policy at any time.
