Notices Prior to Layoff

Policy Prior to Implementing Layoff's

Before implementing a layoff, Northeast Data must:

  1. Determine whether the entire company or designated work unit(s) are to be affected.
  2. Designate work unit(s) to be affected as appropriate,
  3. Review all vacant positions to identify valid vacancies that can be used a placement options for employees to be impacted by application of the layoff policy.

* Valid vacancies can be filled after the company has determined that no employees to be affected by layoff are eligible for, and interested in the positions.
