Northeast Data, Inc. has no objections to employees holding another job. Second jobs are allowed only if the employee can continue to perform their normal work requirements efficiently within the scheduled workweek. Work assignments and schedules will not be changed to accommodate duties not related to Northeast Data, Inc. Employees should notify Northeast Data, Inc. if they decide to work a second job. If work performance is affected, Northeast Data, Inc. reserves the right to ask the employee to drop one of the jobs.
Employees are not permitted to work for or share company information with firms that compete with Northeast Data, Inc. Employment at Northeast Data, Inc. is considered full-time unless otherwise agreed. Employees may accept casual outside employment after working hours if there is no conflict with Northeast Data, Inc.’s interests.
No employee shall engage in any activity, business, or employment that conflicts with Northeast Data, Inc.'s interests or diminishes their ability to provide full, loyal, and undivided service to the company.
If you wish to work part-time for another company, discuss it with your supervisor before accepting the job. There may be valid reasons to avoid taking another job, and discussing it can prevent potential issues.
Permission to hold any outside employment or business interests with anyone doing business with Northeast Data, Inc., its suppliers, or customers must be secured in writing from Northeast Data, Inc. Failure to secure advance permission may result in immediate termination.
