Northeast Data promotes a positive company image. Therefore, it is important that we look and dress our best. Northeast Data has provided uniforms to all personnel in the network services department. If you do not have the proper uniform you must see the Network Services Manager or Vice President to arrange a date for uniform sizing.
Clothing Dress Policy
- All employees must wear the Northeast Data provided company Uniform Shirts (Overalls/Jacket if required) on a daily basis. Any employee not wearing the proper uniform will be sent home without warning and unpaid.
- Only Company issued hats/hard hats will be permitted while on the customer site.
- All Uniform Shirts must have all buttons buttoned with a max of two buttons unbuttoned from the top at any time.
- All Uniforms are to be kept clean and washed on a regular basis.
- All Uniform Shirts are to be tucked into the pants at the waist at all times.
- Network Department personnel are not to wear jeans on a customer site. A $150.00 yearly reimbursement allowance is available for these personnel to purchase dress pants to wear to work. Receipts must be handed in to the office for reimbursement.
Jewelry Policy
- All rings/watches/necklaces/bracelets of any kind must be removed prior to entering any production area or an area where your specific customer location requires Jewelry to be removed. These items can be kept in the employees pocket if needed.
- Medical Alert necklaces/bracelets need to be worn in accordance with the customer's regulations.
- No earrings of any form or kind are to be worn while on the clock for Northeast Data.
Any employees found to not meet the above requirements will be sent home and receive no pay for that day. Repeat offenders will be subject to termination.
NOTE:Please remember that this dress policy is not to discriminate against any one employee. We are trying to make our office/work environments more professional/safe and need your help to do so. It is up to each and everyone to reinforce this policy. Any employee that does not follow these guidelines will be subject to the Progressive Discipline Policy.
